Decades ago, one of my Clinical Psychology professors was fond of alarming her students by pointing out their slurs, slips of the tongue, and behavioral quirks as possible indications of brain lesions.

I wonder where she is now. She seems to have disappeared into nowhere, like many full-time professors who retire and who are nothing else.

She must have finally fallen into the quicksand of her brain damage research.
