Danny Pino is a fine performer who deserves all the roles he can get. It was only in Law & Order: SVU, however, where he achieved great depth of character, perhaps due to skilled writers, directors, and camerapersons. Other shows seem to treat him merely as a supporting actor left to fend for himself, and he often falls back on tired mannerisms. Someone should care enough to direct him.
