I love stocking up on professional-grade oil paints. They last forever.

I used to do the same for acrylics a decade ago, when I was still into acrylics, but stocking up on acrylics was a terrible idea for me. The paint turned hard or pebbly even inside tubes that hadn't been opened yet.
