Beauty's (Grand)father Brings Home The Rose

Sometimes, when I am about to go shopping, my granddaughters ask me to buy them a thing or two. I did so today, and it always makes me feel like Beauty's father bringing home a rose.

Went jalan-jalan, paid our water bill, bought what my granddaughters wanted, then couldn't resist going to the Korean store again. Went home with packs of shrimp dumplings, shark's fin dumplings, two types of seaweed snacks, and more Samango.

Also bought more tiny, porcelain teacups.

That was the lesson Beauty's father had never learned: Buy a rose for your daughter, but also buy a rose for yourself.
